How to Play
- The numbers to the left of each row and above each column give the lengths of the runs of filled cells in that line. When there are several numbers, the blocks appear in that order, with at least one empty cell separating one block from the next.
- Use Fill mode to color in cells, and use Mark X mode to flag cells that stay empty — this makes the logic far clearer.
- Press and drag across cells to fill or clear several of them at once.
- When you get stuck, use a hint to open one confirmed cell, and use Undo to step back.
- Fill the cells so that every clue is satisfied, and the hidden picture is completed and cleared automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Nonogram?
It is a logic puzzle in which you use the number clues along the rows and columns to fill in the cells of a grid and reveal a hidden picture. It is also known as Picross or a picture logic puzzle.
How do I read the number clues?
The numbers in a line give, in order, the lengths of the runs of consecutive filled cells in that line. For example, "3 1" means you fill three cells in a row, then leave at least one empty cell, and then fill one more cell.
Is it really free?
Yes — you can use every feature for free, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
Can every generated puzzle be solved?
Almost every puzzle is generated and verified so it can be solved with logic alone (a unique solution), without guessing. Follow the clues step by step and you can always complete it.
What is the X mark for?
It marks a cell that will never be filled. Flagging the empty cells with an X clarifies the logic for the remaining cells and helps you avoid mistakes.
Where are my records stored?
Your progress and records are saved only in your browser (localStorage), not on a server. They reset if you switch devices.
