Row–Column Cross-Reference

Reflect a cell confirmed in one line onto the crossing line.

In a nonogram the rows and columns share the same grid. When you fill or block off a cell with an X in one row, that same information is immediately reflected in the column that cell belongs to.

So don't cling to a single line — every time a confirmation appears, shift your gaze to the crossing line and check what new deductions have become possible there.

This back-and-forth between rows and columns is the rhythm of solving nonograms. When you're stuck on one side, the clue often unlocks on the other.
